A detailed parent-guided reading assessment designed to identify a child’s current strengths, developing skills, and the point where reading begins to become difficult.
The assessment examines letter knowledge, phonemic awareness, decoding, phonics patterns, high-frequency words, sentence and passage reading, fluency, reading comprehension, listening comprehension, and observable reading behaviors.
After submission, the results are reviewed by skill area to help determine the most appropriate instructional starting point. This is an educational assessment intended to guide instruction and is not a medical diagnosis, disability diagnosis, or substitute for a formal evaluation.
