Real-Life Reading and Spelling Rescue Lab (Grades 3–5)

In this lab, your child will:
– Read and work with real-world texts (packages, menus, signs, simple directions)
– Practice decoding and spelling patterns in a clear, step-by-step way
– Build confidence reading out loud in a small, supportive group
– Get simple, real-life “missions” to practice between sessions

Format: 8 weeks · 1 live Zoom session per week (about 45 minutes)
Tuition: $160 per child (includes a $40 nonrefundable registration portion)
Current: Wednesdays, 11:00–11:45 a.m. Eastern

MEET YOUR CHILD’S TEACHER:

Miss Faye!

I’m passionate about teaching—and I love making learning doable for real families.

Picture of teacher

Hi! I’m Ms. Faye, the owner of Caterpillar Enrichment Online. I’ll be your child’s teacher, and I stay in close contact with parents so you feel supported and clear on what’s happening each week.

I’ve wanted to be a teacher for as long as I can remember. After high school, I attended Kent State University, studying English and Early Childhood Education, and I’ve taught in a variety of settings for over 20 years.

I’m also a homeschooling mom, so I understand the real-life side of homeschool—the schedules, the overwhelm, and the desire to know you’re doing the right thing. My program is a friendly, structured space that builds skills and confidence, with a strong literacy foundation and support across core subjects so your child keeps progressing.

I’m excited to meet your family—and I can’t wait to teach your child online. Homeschool life is part of my daily world, and I love bringing that practical, encouraging approach into class.

EXPERIENCE THE DIFFERENCE:

Consistent teaching. Small classes. Real progress.

Imagine the peace of mind of having a consistent teacher who truly gets to know your child—how they learn, where they struggle, and what helps them grow. In many settings, kids can slip through the cracks year after year. Here, I pay attention daily and adjust as needed, so progress doesn’t depend on luck.

You’ll also love the environment: small class sizes (typically 8 students, never more than 10) so your child gets real support, not “crowd teaching.” That’s why parents often tell me their child feels more confident and finally starts believing, ‘I can do this.
